Daily Breakdown
Day 1: Hanoi to Ba Be National Park (~230km)
Start early to escape Hanoi. Ride toward Ba Be Lake, the largest natural lake in Vietnam.
- Activity: Take a late afternoon boat trip on the lake to see Puong Cave and the Dau Dang Waterfall.
- Stay: A homestay in Pac Ngoi village (Tay ethnic people).
Day 2: Ba Be to Pac Bo Historical Site to Cao Bang City (~170km)
Head north toward the Chinese border.
